Quietly while I am sleeping
And the moon is lighting up the night
As the stars twinkle a lullaby
You come to me in my dreams
Not as a dream
But as a angel in the night
You sing a song to my soul
That heals me
You take away my worries
Letting me rest throughout the night
When I awake
I know you have been here
Because I can feel my heart
Was gently touched
Good morning everyone, sometimes when I see something I instantly know I am going to write a poem about what I have seen. Yesterday when I say my friend Laura’s aka ( Isabelle711 ) last upload the title was Gently Touched and instantly I knew those words together like that were begging for me to write a poem for them lol. So for her friendship and inspiration this poem and picture is for my friend Laura. I hope she likes it and I hope you do to. The picture I chose to put with this poem was taken last week. In this shot a father was giving his daughter a gently hug and I thought it kind of fit the theme of how tender and gentle the touch was. Anyway thank you for everything I hope you like it.

Thank you my friend with all of my heart for this most sweet and beautiful dedi. :)))) You know how much I love the warmth and sweetness of the sun. LOL!!! :))))) I truely love this image of love from a parent to a child. :))) I love my two kids and grand-baby more than I will ever be able to say, and I can never hug them enough. :))) I am so very touched by this dedi. :))) My friend please know in the depths of your heart that you inspire people with your poetry.
