Description
The original subfloor at Trent and David's house was laid on the diagonal. I love it when they remodel a house ... I get to see the coolest stuff! :)
The rope was apparently extra. They had put a tarp over the back of the house and anchored it with sandbags hanging from ropes. Very clever!

Insides and undersides are always far more interesting than people know, and I happen to love looking at house guts. I have yet to photograph house guts, however; I only saw office guts getting new panorex units, dental chairs, and other assorted heavy things. I suppose I could have photographed THAT but alas...no. This is quite an intriguing image. The old wood looks as if you might have photographed it outdoors. It triggered all sorts of nautical thoughts of old ships and rigging. I wonder if there's a story in that? I'll find out soon enough!
I once had a job inspecting houses under construction and so can second Chip's opinion of "house guts". The rope looks a little lonely sitting there all by itself while all the other ropes get to play with tarps and sandbags.
