Amazing shot! You do these so well. It's funny, I came to this after looking up some rather creepy information on a genre of photography big in the Victorian Era. Hidden Mother photography: and the name is exactly what it implies. It's pictures, featuring babies in really voluptuously-decorated environments with lots of draping, and the mother of the child in question, hidden within the decoration in attempts to hold the babies still...what's creepy is the fact that a few of the photographs might also be examples of another Victorian Era phenomenon: postmortem keepsake photography. That has nothing to do with this shot, and yet the human focus is what connects them, I think. Cameras are more readily available now, and photography is easier, and so we don't have to go through as much as our Victorian ancestors did, and yet our focus is still the same. It's on humanity, even if there are no humans in the photo. For me, that's pretty amazing, and I love having seen those photographs (some of which were morbid-creepy!) and then coming here and seeing not just a human face, looking deliciously human, complex, and a bit spiritual, but a human face with sparkles on top. How cool is that? This rocks.

Normally I'd have to look twice, but this actually suits his persona! What a great looking portrait of this man, and he's got such lovely eyes that the bandana seems to bring out and brighten even more!
