Description
Another shot of this Little Blue Heron that had a terrible background. Once again I removed the distracting background and created a new one. I also layered in the stump.
My thanks to those who took the time to comment on my earlier images. It is appreciated.

I re-edited this image on Aug 26 because I agreed with Katraz about the sky being too light. I increased the saturation a bit so the Heron would stand out better.

It is extraordinary to see the bones through the feathers! A marvellous shot of this rather ungainly moment.
What a cool action shot....but this is not a blue heron...it is a white heron so far I can see...just google and look at the pictures
Great shot and nice postwork although I thought the sky could be a bit darker.
Lee forgot to add that is an IMMATURE Little Blue Heron. They are white when young. Nice landing shot.
