Description
We met an older gentleman this morning. Three years ago, he had been riding an 850 pound (386 kg) motorcycle and he had decided that it was too much weight for him to handle. The resulting solution is the homemade CycleCar in this photo. He used a 1984 Pontiac Fiero, automatic transition with the four-cylinder engine in the rear. The seat is centered on the frame and that is the radiator cooling system sitting next to the driver. The only negative things I could see was that the gas tank is located where the rear window would be and it is a single rider vehicle because of the placement of the radiator. The radiator eliminates the potential of a passenger sitting behind the driver. The engine takes up the entire trunk (boot to our English friends) so there is really no storage space. Fiero means proud in Italian and wild, fierce or ferocious in Spanish and was originally designed a two-seat sports car. This combination was much quieter than a large Harley. I added the rear view so you could see the placement of the gas tank in the rear window.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

Where there's a will, there is a way and sometimes away out there
LOL! That's different! :D Excelent POVs and captures!
What a clever idea! I will show this to my brother.
Now that is what I call one bad motor scooter!
outstanding craftsmanship except for the radiator like you said.
What a contraption!! :)
no thats something you dont see very often these days, a motor bike and sidecar
Yeah I totally agree: the placement of the petrol tank and radiator does let it down a bit. But still, what a great contraption!
cool way to build this
OMG, that's just totally insane:) I Love it! Again pity about the lack of ability to carry passengers but hey, what a wonderfully individualistic vehicle! Brilliant my friend , just brilliant!
Great shots of the remarkable innovation, Dana, plus the interesting text on its creation and overall features. The gentleman is most resourceful. Instead of doing what he did, I would just purchase a much smaller car.
seen a similar few on pawn stars show, cool ride.
very impressive!
A very imaginative vehicle to drive and I guess it would be safer to drive now that he is older as it would be more easily seen. Very cute and thank you for the two views of it.
Excellent work!
Flip, that is amazing, how clever of him. xx
Oh my, this is so unique--- those actually came out of my mouth when I saw the image. Photos like this will really make someone smile.
Wierd and wonderful Dana and very ingenious.
Nice but crazy idea ,and just think of all that drag caused by that extremely none aerodynamic rear end.
N ever seen the likes of this, dear Dana. A stunning vehicle and capture. Hugs for all day. Di. xx
Odd and crazy vehicle, interesting shot, Dana !
OMG this is really cool never seen anything like this great shot.
!!! Wow, he must really love his motorcycle. Most people would have just switched to an automobile.
Very clever.
Excellent shots! :)

Great solution, but I agree with you about the tank and radiator.
