Description
My schedule up here in New Hampshire has not allowed me the opportunity to get out and about to photograph the area. My daily postings and comments have fallen from daily to sporadic. In desperation I found a February 2008 file folder from a day at the American Orchid Society. I hope to not bore you with too many orchids. My notes were not well organized since I had not joined Renderosity yet. I think that this is a Phalaenopsis hybrid. Not my best photo but I like the color.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

it looks like little faces staring out at us - like little aliens, waiting patiently to take over our minds and then the world..... cool capture Dana

Amazing shot my friend.
Love the color of these and very nice image.
Very cool angle in this image Dad! Being able to see a few partial orchids in the POV surronding the two in full view. Has me thinking it's a purple headed hydra.
Gorgeous orchids! They look like little aliens...
I admire this masterpiece by you. I thank you for it. 5+!
A gorgeous orchid these type always remind me of butterfly's on a branch.
The colours are indeed gorgeous Dana; Orchids boring - never:)
Fantastic orchids!:)
SUPERLATIVE WORK!
Great shot from the past, Dana. Wow, other than the beautiful magenta and textures, these beauties look like the screw propellers/blades on boat motors. Never seen this variety of orchid before.
outstanding image
this is a wonderful image
Oh I think this is a most beautiful image my friend. :))))) Most excellent capture also. :)))) I have an orchid such as this one, and I was reading that they only get one leaf a year and rite now mine is getting a brand new leaf. :))) I will have it for a year this valentines day. :))))) After this leaf comes on it will be 6 years old if the info I read was rite. :)))))) I don't know if I need to cut the stems back or not that have already had blooms on them or not. If you know and would share I would be most greatful. :))))) I understand about life getting busy my friend. No worries. :)))) Time goes by so extra fast and it seems like one just doesn't have the time to do what they wish. I find myself like that alot. LOL!!! Now in the winter time moves extra extra slow for me. :( Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :))))
