Description
At the feeder this afternoon.
They never used to use the feeders until a few years ago, and now each generation teaches the next.
(The American Robin is in a totally different family, which also contains our Blackbirds and Thrushes.)
This is Tizzy 3 on 10X macro zoom..she is very good really. I have just binned the pics on the same setting I took on the much mre modern TZ18, complete rubbish.

if ever there was a bird more suited to sit in front of a lens, ive yet to discover it.
wow very nice shot, love that you can see some of the detail in the bird's eye!
So fresh and bright eyed isn't he, if a little ruffled? A Cracking capture of this much loved garden bird, well done! Everynow and then manufacturers get something just right, then they change it and mess it all up - progress!!
Perched for a meal..although I don't remember having robins often on seed feeders! Lovely shot
Fantastic shot. Very well done! 5+
So cute bird, wonderful photo!
A sweetie! :)
Your robins are much cuter and smaller than ours. This is a beautiful shot.
Great color, detail and texture in this capture of the Robin Red Breast and feeder.
A stunning capture of this beautiful little robin.
This is most definitely not what we'd call a robin in Chicago...and outside of pictures, I've never seen this species of bird: well, not that I am consciously aware of. I have to say that I rather like these. I like that there are two different sorts of birds that can bear the same name and express completely different habits. US-American robins are feast on worms and other assorted grass and garden dwellers, and they often find the most ludicrously large worms to wrangle with. These look a bit more demure, reticent, and overall friendly. And as for this shot: I love the details and the incredibly rich color! This is a beautiful image of a beautiful bird.
so cute
wow what a beautiful robin I have seen the red breast around here a lot but never this one excellent shot!~
Such a pretty little thing! A most excellent shot. Your Tizzy 3 knows her stuff! :)
