Description
I bought Talwicca's original "Crying Raven" from Renderosity quite a while back and used it a few times. Recently, Talwicca has totally redone Crying Raven into an entirely new version--"Crying Raven 2." Fell in love with her at first sight. Talwicca showed her off in the store in more traditional Native American clothing. While I love that stuff, I choose to make her a modern "Rez" woman, so she ended up with Marina's "V4 Jeans" (ShareCG) and DAD's "Shirt" from same.
One of the things I like about this model is that she is not the usual "Barbie Doll" slim, trim, slick. She's shapely but she isn't daintly. She is obviously intelligent and strong.
In this render, I don't know why she is crying. Originally, I was going to have a trailer house and a Jeep in the background. Thought I'd have her holding a letter at a mailbox. I had a specific civilian Jeep in mind, but couldn't find the darn model. (Could it be that I have way too many models?) I had several trail house models, but could find any of them except my old Bryce models--and a fine lot of good they were going to do me in Vue!!! Decided just to do it as you see here. Think I like it better in this version than the original concept.
As always, thanks so much for coming by for a peek. Also for all those other encouragements and your friendship. All are valued.
Jeremy
PS. Had a cool day today--the Heat Index was only 99 degrees F! Hey! Perhaps that's why Crying Raven is crying. It's just too darn hot!!!

Great scene and character!
Fine detail on the plants ...the hair looks very realistic ..well done
So many reasons come to pass as to why she may have been given this name to list here but that's what's cool about interpreting art...(smiles)... you should do another with some of the ideas you had mentioned but decided not to with this one as they too would make for a good interpretation....Though I do like this one...(smiles)..
lovely work!
Wonderful scene! Great details! :)
