Most of the aircraft at this gathering were giving rides - for a fee, tax exempt - and all were taking off and coming back at regular intervals. So there were many opportunities for picture taking. The weather also co-operated. It was gusting with clouds on Friday and the forecast for Friday night were winds up to 60mph, heavy rain and a chance for tornadoes in the area. The airport had 1.96 inches of rain overnight and Saturday was partly cloudy, no rain, but gusty winds, usually crosswinds to runway 13/31.
