nice plane. EXCELLENT POV.
Stopover! Ah ha! Glad you passed through here Sig. Let's see...the plane is a Douglas SBD Dauntless, the Navy's main torpedo bomber during WWII from 1940-1943. Quite a display indeed.
when we came from las vegas last year we went through chicago, but sadly the flight was late and we had to run,no time to look left or right just the tunnel view to catch the connecting flight.
I am glad you identified this for me Bill. I wasn't sure! Yes, a really nice display!
This is fantastic Sig. A great shot and something that I would like to see.

Nice shot! I like the background they used with the plane. That was a nice touch.
Yeah, I like the background too. I thought I was watching 'Midway' or maybe 'Victory at Sea', but the sound was missing!

Great image!!
Now THIS is is something to make my stop over at an airport pass allot more pleasantly and quicker! What a fine sight....BUT! What a sad sight also that, the ONLY soul who's looking up and probably even noticed or knew what it was, is the elderly gent in the center! Who knows, he could have even flew them! Great shot... Rob
was the one chain visible supporting the entire plane? superb capture
Yeah Rob, either they see it all the time or they don't care!
