Excellent shot, surprising lack of traffic in the city that never sleeps, oh well, I guess even the busiest cities have there quiet spells!
A fine example of urban geometry. The crisscrossing lines on the street make this stand out from the crowd of typical city photos...

While I was looking through your gallery I asked my son to come see NYC images and the first thing he said was it would be sad not to be able to see the stars at nite. :) I told him it would and that the people in NYC got to see the stars when they lost all electric power years ago. As someone who lived in NY, I think Andrea is totally misjudging the place. Its amazing, but that was just my experience. You are really capturing the essence of Manhattan well.
When my grandparents came to visit New York City years ago, they probably said it best...a great place to visit, we just wouldn't want to live here. This is a wonderful cityscape...

A great perspective but the buildings lack a certain touch of imagination and I feel there should be eagles flying in these canyons.
