Description
Sometimes sparks will fly - and that's a good thing, especially when you are trying to make do with old star-pegs, (triangular metal stakes, used for building fences etc.) mind you a bit rusty ... but I believe in recycling!
So let's chop off the rusty bits - with the metal-grinder and they look as good as new, to live another day!
My son Jeff did the honours - he wouldn't dream of letting me use it, my job is to take the picture ;) and that's OK with me! (it's a guys thing, you know!)

Very cool capture
wonderful shot
Fantastic shot of those sparks - very vibrant & alive...
Great pic! Good for Jeff!
Never realised that it looked so kool from the side on view, but then again, I sure am glad there was a guard the grinder, otherwise I might have set my hair on fire !...well, what's left of it...LOL Fiery capture BB, just right for some Winter warmth ! ~Cheers~
What a great picture! You wouldn't catch me using one of those ... I'd drop it in a panic as soon as it started spitting sparks in my direction ... but it's certainly beautiful to see! I find this sort of work to be mesmerizing. I can watch other people work all day! :)
oh yes, thats great, love metall art and work and your picture is art craft!
Super idea. Fascinating image. Often a subject like this gets me googling...today I've learned about the subject of spark testing:)
Great details; from the reflection of light on the flat of the guard, to the multi-directional spray of the sparks. Can even see your son using his foot for leverage from this POV!
A great shot captured well BB.
Awesome flare of sparks. So nice Jeff is there to help you out. What a wonderful way to recyle the posts.
Superb!Love the sparks flying everywhere! Great color and POV too.
Let the sparks fly, like in this fabulous foto, Brigitte! Sparks is usually the nickname of the wireless telegrapher aboard ships.
I LOVE grinding stuff! Any excuse.......
The sparks are certainly flying here and you have caught them beautifully in this capture. They make for a great work of art. We recycle here too and hubby is always doing this sort of thing for me. It is good that Jeff is there to do these things.
hah! guy stuff..... it's like when we put jumper cables on a car battery... we look confident but deep inside we're cringing... cool shot... tell Jeff to keep is hair tied up!
Outstanding capture!! Love the spray patterns of the sparks!
Original and excellent capture!
