Description
...stop eating that pizza, put down your beer, and start stroking me... now!
My friend's cat Ulysses... such a good boy. We hung out for a weekend on his huge, potted plant covered, deck enjoying some unusually clear and warm Vancouver, B.C. weather.
Some of my first shots with my new Nikon D5100. Going to take some getting used to after working with my little Nikon S9100 point and shoot! Didn't think things were going so good until I got home and started working with the RAW images. So great to have some control over the shoot again... especially aperature... it's been years since I've worked with a SLR.

Great capture of this very beautiful cat, those eyers are beautiful.
A new toy, what fun! Caught some great detail in the eyes!
Oh, he's a very handsome boy! I think he's probably very spoiled from all the attention too. :) I really like how you captured his personality here.
Great portrait, Roxy!! These eyes tell a lot why cats rule!! :o)
Nice cat portrait ! Congratulations for the selection of this image in LWitG #22 (Last Week in the Gallery #22) ! :~)
You have captured the essence that is cat! Great shot.
I know what must have happened next...cat wins. I like this close up portrait..and yes, working with RAW is a fine way to keep it looking good, certainly with white kitties, a difficult photo to do with this detail.
