Description
This truck was left near some long abandoned fields in the middle of nowhere on the Toh Chin Lini Mesa, Navajo Reservation.
While on this project the teams often referred to the location of interesting objects discovered as 'in the middle of nowhere'.
'In the middle of nowhere' generally described a location between ten to fifteen miles, or a 4x4 drive of 1 hour to a 1 1/2 hr from the nearest human habitation.

Wonderful find and capture my friend. God Bless.
It look like a chevrolet truck?? I just hate situation like this the beauty is alone in noware Grrrr ((5++))
I am surprised that old navy did not claim it for their stores
there's more than TLC and a lot of money involved in restoring this truck Great find on your part Sig cool description of 'Middle of Nowhere!'
Old Navy has no clue that truck exists. 'In the Middle of Nowhere' means just that. I doubt that many outsiders, meaning non-Navajo, have seen this! Its about 40 miles by dirt road and 4 wheeling from the nearest paved road!
fantastic image!!
BEAUTIFUL CAPTURE WELL DONE
wonderful capture warm hugs, Linda
Cool capture!!
This is exactly the sort of thing Bill keeps hoping he'll run across. :) Outstanding photograph!
Maybe this is just an old abandoned rusted out truck in the middle of the desert or maybe it's a glimpse into one possible future in which the only traces of our extinct species left on earth are decaying pieces of our technology. I think that symbolism (gloomy as it is) is part of why I find this image so fascinating...
You are raising a good question. Who knows?
Classic reservation style!
Great atmosphere! :-))
Fantastic shot, there's a special atmosphere in this picture. Superb!!
I can't tell you how many pictures of wrecks I took when I was roaming the wild west ! You understand why I like this one very much.
I love this kind of photography. Great shot.
wow just imagine all the possible scenarios of how it could of got there? great find and shot! An interesting photo of this abandoned relic from the past that has been ravaged by time.
