One last image before we disappear into the wilds of the rain forest ...
This was yesterday at Rialto Beach, just on the other side of the river from La Push.
This young man and his friends had a campfire on the beach, and he was doing the responsible thing ... having water handy to put out the fire when they were done. He really wanted the water, but he didn't want to get his feet wet, but once the wave had receded there wasn't enough water on the ground to pick up in the bucket! I wish you could have seen him in action, running back and forth, leaping and dancing and laughing his head off. What a lovely moment this was! :)

I know exactly that feeling! - of saltwater trying to nibble at your feet, hilarious, been there - done that! ... in retrospect it would have been easier to take his shoes and socks off ;) but this would have been more fun to watch, I wonder what that dark 'thingy' is on the horizon, probably a rock? BB PS I am following the blog ok ... thanks
