Description
Just east of Neah Bay, Washington on the Juan de Fuca highway, on a day that varied between mist and fog. This is a typical view in Washington at this time of year. Damp, foggy, rainy. Beautiful!
Look up Neah Bay on Google Maps and you'll see the general area we were in. Right now we're camped at the beach at La Push.
We're leaving La Push tomorrow and heading for the Hoh rain forest. We were there two years ago, but only for one night, and are looking forward to going back in. We won't have internet while we're in the rain forest, so if you don't hear from us for a few days, don't worry! We'll be back in range eventually. :)

Kind of a threatening don't you think? You can imagine huge storms, fogs drifting.. But, also brilliant sunny day, views that go forever! Great shot.. Great place! Rob

WOW! This kinda looks like Devil's Tower decided to go wading, which would be quite a sight, if you ask me, since Devil's Tower is a geological formation, and so it probably doesn't travel around and wade very much. I love the greenery and the mist: there's something almost primordial about it, like something interesting is cooking up, and you captured that mood wonderfully. There's a kind of expectancy, and quiet, contemplative beauty here. Great stuff!
