Description
This is the lower floor of the gazebo in Caversham Court. It overlooks the Thames and was built by 1663.
The main area of the gazebo is on the upper floor and this part acted as a link between the main garden and the secret garden.
Sadly, the secret garden no longer exists having the club house for the Caversham Canoe Club and the Sea Scouts built on it.
This lovely old window does, however, still look out onto the Thames.
