Description
...spent an hour this morning walking the streets of Port Townsend, Washington, officially first settled in 1851.
...this colorful Victorian commercial building is the James and Hastings Building, built in 1889.
...The first building in Port Townsend stood in this spot...a two room log cabin.

This is a staggeringly good piece of selective coloring Bill! It adds so much to the whole pic!
real coo shot
cool smiles as I stare warm hugs, Linda
What a co-inky-dink. Our old town has a B.F. Hastings Building built in 1853. It was bank originally but later was the site of the California Supreme Court. This is very well done and I find your postwork a great way to highlight this beautiful old building. Very nicely done.
Super post work, Bill! I feel I recognise this building, I wonder if Tara posted a shot last year.
Wonderful selective coloring capture Bill!
A brilliant shot against that thundery sky Bill.
Lovely bit of old architecture Bill. It's a slight pity the modern cars are in the scene.
What a wonderful looking building love the colours and the selective colouring.. Fabulous work on this Bill..

AmaZZZZZZZZZZZZZzzzzzzing color contrast!
stunning picture and work
Fantastic image and great postwork
Beautiful building, and your postwork really makes it pop...
great choice of selective coloring here Bill. It helps tell the story here! Well done.
Oh, yikes! What a JOB! Have you taken a color photo and selectively converted most to black/white, or have you made it black/white and selectively done the coloration? Either way, amazing detail work! Particularily separating the trees/leaces from the building. The combination black/white and color really makes the building jump at the viewer. This is amazing work! Keep it up! :-)
AW! what a super result you got here of your work. Well done :)
Fantastic shot & use of selective coloring. A couple of our best friends lived in Port Townsend until a few weeks ago, when they moved to Eugene, Oregon. I always liked the town, though they found the weather there kind of gloomy most of the year - not much sunshine...
Nice photo and great color on the building.
Great pic Hugs Susan~
This is excellent. Just how I imagine Washington to look.
Well done - superb image of this wonderful, old building
