Description
Tree trimming time in south Florida. We have to get it done before hurricane season. A nest came down with one of the branches with six eggs inside. We rebuilt the nest as best we could and put it up in a nearby branch, with the three surviving eggs. The bird that was going crazy, up in the tree, looked like a female Grackle. I could not find any information, as to the color of grackle eggs, thus the vague title. Thanks to the tree guys for climbing up there with the nest. Photo taken today. Zoom works.
Thanks for stopping by, taking a look and for all your previous favs and comments. They are very much appreciated.

egg, the first three letters of my last name Dana, hope the mother accepts the eggs after human contact.
Sweeet
I hope they make it to hatch now. :) Excellent capture!
Excellent capture Dana, amazing work, congratulations!
Great capture! I like the pale blue color of the egg. Great that you care about it.
Great photo!!
It's good that they didn't end up scrambled from the fall! :~) By the image it seems great care has been taken reconstructing the nest.
I do hope all that effort pays off!
Lets hope she accepts the new nest, I looked up Grackle and it looks like a funny Blackbird very pretty.
Very nice shot!! :-))
The feathers present suggest something other than a grackle, but they could have just picked those up. Hope this works out well!
Lovely shot Dana but I have my doubts about whether she will accept the situation. I do hope she does.
It all looks so cosy, you did a good job putting it back together!!
Amazing capture my friend.
Fine capture, Dana - hope the parents got them hatched!! :o)
New babies and did u climb the tree to get that one lol great shot of this nest.
Aww, hope the relocated nest meets with parental approval; great capture!
Sweet shot of this beautiful nest with the blue eggs !
I hope the bird began to smolder again! Excellent capture, Dana!
With past experience with working with the DNR as a volunteer it's more than likely the mother bird will abandon them due to human contact...you'll know in a day or 2.....but there's always a chance she won't....I know Robin's won't return after human contact...usually the male will come to the nest and destroy them as I've personally witnessed on more than one occasion....I' hope they survive as only nature will decide...
Great shot and capture , Dana ! But even more beautiful than you did for these future creatures!
Nice shot Dana and I hope it all works out well!
Lots of good clarity and contrast in this pic of the feathery nest, Dana, and kudos to you and others who helped in its repair and return to the tree branch above.
