Featured here today is the second of five pictures I have been inspired to create after seeing the work of incredible British artist Anne Stokes. For most of us those first hesitant steps we take as a child will lead us along a path which will last our entire lifetime. We all fall in the first attempt and then we all get up and try again. If we fall along the way in later life it is hoped that we can find the spirit to once again get up and hopefully try again. But what of the winged creatures of the air and their first steps along the path of life. The distance they may fall if they get it wrong may be just be that little bit further than the first hesitant steps we two-legged human creatures take. Lets hopes this young dragon, this creature from myth and legend, folklore and fantasy does not fall in his first attempt to fly the path of life. The link below is included so that others may visit the site of the person who inspired me to create this week’s offerings here in my gallery – I hope you like what you see – I do. http://www.annestokes.com/
