Description
This cathedral in Chitre dates from the 18th century but was substantially remodeled in 1988.
The entire ceiling is made of polished mahogany.
Unlike many cathedrals that impress through ostentation, this one is striking for its elegant simplicity and fine balance of gold and wood.

That is the beauty of this site. You can find so much variety in different artistic styles, I love the way you captured the view of this building and you didn't even use any Photoshopping on it either which makes it a whole lot more original.
A fantastic beautiful photo of this beautiful church. Elaborate looking churches are not always the best place to pray!
