Wind Eagle's design is obviously based upon the American bald eagle, and I would have just left it at that, and early drafts of the character did indeed have him simply being a gung-ho Air Force pilot jock type. However, I eventually thought that it would be a tiny bit more interesting if I just modified that somewhat and make him totally alien, but still adhere to that archetype. Thus the additional green & purple plumage and him being a part of the VSF instead of the USAF. His city of origin is called, "Greydome," and it is in an area of the planet Vorsan called "Sky Region II," which is the northeast quadrant of the globe.
