The photographer dwarfed amidst the giant arboreal beauties in this crisp and colorful image, Bill.
Wonderful scene.

Lovely shot and superb light Bill and Tara looks to be enjoying the moment too.
Such a lovely area to visit, nice work!
Excellent picture!!
Imagine the sound and the thud when that one fell down! Wow. Great shot of that beautiful forest.
Love being in these kind of forest. Huge trees. Excellent shot. Aloha
I love this, a beautiful place and my tutor at work.
Hmmm... is that Tara? Nice to have someone in the photo to show the vast scale of these trees. I wonder what brought the tree down? This looks so rich and lush it's very inviting to lie down in the greenery. Another beautiful photo, Bill. Keep it up! :-)
WOW! The trees are HUGE. Easier to see when Tare is there too. Wonderful capture.
It is a beautiful place, is it quiet in there? I know in one of the woods we go to there is no sound not even the birds!!!
You've captured the lushness & greenness of it very well & that fallen tree really looks like a mammoth...
I love that ray of light coming down onto Tara's head, it must be the light of talent descending upon her! Beautiful shot, Bill!
love the deep greens
"If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?" It is so green there, Bill. Great compo with Tara there, Clive
Love this shot; I swear that tree has a twin not far from here!!
lovely!!! never seen a more enchanting forest!
Oooh, Deep shade with a nice touch of blue. That shade of blue is so familiar. I think I saw it in Chicago! Nice to see familiar people in action, and what a shot this is. I have yet to visit the Redwoods and I really must! It looks so calm there, and I'm amazed at how open this is, even though its IN a forest! Such huge ferns too! Great!
Great capture Bill. Tara being in the picture puts things into perspective!
Wonderful place and shot. Fantastic colors.
(Anyone I know???) You've captured Tara positively cradled by the forest, down in an 'alcove' not only surrounded by those glorious massive tree trunks, but by the trunks lying on their sides---which appear almost as fences for the area, a safe haven. She's 'harmonized' by the tall tree behind her, by the tree right in front of her (I'm speaking of verticals now) and by that marvelous clump of 'tree stuff' that you included on the far right. (Great inclusion. I think it takes guts to include things like that, because on the surface they can appear messy.) She's wonderfully set apart, even if she's surrounded. And oh, those carpets of green again---what a great place to capture her, showing that the photographer picks his/her 'spots' for all that surrounds them, bathes them, supports them, etc. And the light & open space behind---a beautiful backdrop. Well, you're gonna have to go back to this place, that's all. Or buy one. (Or rent...) You're doing beautiful work here, and you seem to find no end of the formations you can work with, lushly opening themselves up for you as you go...
