Very cool idea
Oooh, this is exciting, especially if you can rearrange the books! I see a few goodies there...true classics of world/brick literature. What I find most striking is the color. That earthen-red color is so crisp and sharp, but not as searing as I would have expected in a photograph centered on bricks. I love the concept and the lack of an actual focal point is what adds to this shot for me. There's so much room to wander around without the burden of an anchor. Not only that, but this is just such a cool shot! Marvelous! Elegant. Would this qualify as art literacy?
I'm with Chip about the focal point. Not having one makes my eye go back and forth along the shelves looking for just the right thing, much like my eye travels a library shelf upon first approaching it. Being able to reserve books on line and pick them up from the hold shelf when they're available has cut down on my browsing time in the actual library, but it's a familiar feeling, looking at your image. Nicely done on their part AND on yours! :)

Certainly a brain and eye teaser plus a great capture too.
It certainly is an imaginative idea for a library, particularly as it continues the mortar lines, making me wonder if it is bricks or street art. Love it either way!
