Description
This evening, Jo and I went over to our local Bass Pro Outdoor Shop. Inside (these places are HUGE if you've never been inside one...) there is a restaurant called Islamadora Fish Market. The food there is just off the hook delicious.
The item pictured is calle the 'Super Chipper.' It's a HUGE pile of freshly made (on site) potato chips topped with melted cheese, diced scallions, tomatoes, and crumbled bacon - all topped with sour cream with a cup of Ranch dip. There is enough here to feed a platoon of Marines. And they call this an appetizer??

Ya know, when I first saw this, I had just finished dinner and it quite frankly looked disgusting. I looked again on an empty stomache, and while there was a little more appeal, it still is such a mountain of food it boggles the mind. Thanks for sharing. In fact you could share that plate with a whole soup kitchen, LOL.

Oooh! I've noticed a trend here...there seem to be a lot of places that offer family-sized appetizers (if you have a family the size of a military platoon.) Or maybe they were developed by the people responsible for feeding armies, and they just haven't made the switch to civilian life yet? At any rate, I love massive appetizers! They're meals in and of themselves and this looks tasty. So my question is: how quickly was it finished off?
