Description
Captured back on 10/1/09, early morning, within the usually congenial confines of my condominium complex.
Undeniably ZOOM worthy.
To avoid scrolling, I rotated the image 90-degrees clockwise, so what appears to be a red brick wall at the upper right is actually part of a brick path.
INCIDENTALLY, I forgot to mention it before, but I recently read that Adobe Photoshop CS6 is now in its Beta version. The whole interface has been updated and streamlined, and there are a ton of new tools.
Unfortunately, I'm still stuck at CS3 because my obsolete 9.5-year old Mac PowerPC computer won't accept anything newer. Goodoleboy still uses good ole stuff, but eventually I will have to give in to the new technology and get a late model computer so I can use the newer software, such as PS CS6, Bokeh and Topaz.
Auf wiedersehen, thankx for coming by, and for any and all favs and noncritical comments.

Lots of lines and curls and color Harry! Super shot!! I'm guessing you took it at an angle? Cuz the POV looks pretty cool also! Hope you are doing well:-)
Super pic with lots of interest!
Very interesting plant!
Beautiful detail, color, and light! Great depth and detail of the leaves. The lighting is really wonderful. Lovely display of the patterns and edges of the leaves.
Love all the colors and stripes; they're just gorgeous!!
beautiful structures of leaves in sunshine :)thx for CS Info !somestimes i can used the newest version...i hope
The pattern of canna leaves reminds me of several sets of pajamas I've had over the years:) Neat image of these giant leafed plants Harry. As for CS6...I knew it was coming...there's always something new to spend your money on. I will definitly be sticking with CS5 for sometime to come. I think you should treat yourself to some new gear and let us know what you think.
This is a lovely capture Harry, I really like all the details.
I've heard the beta version of CS6 is fairly unstable, hopefully they'll sort that before it releases. This is a beautiful capture, Harry; great colour and exquisite detail on these gorgeous leaves! Well done!
Very nice... Aloha
We must be living on the same 'wavelength' - I have also Cannas living in my garden - they are a joy to look at and the best thing - they need no maintenance! YEAH ... cool and impressive choice, BB *** PS thank you so very much for the good wishes for my 'EYE OP' - apart from having felt very anxious prior to it and than feeling really sick after the anesthesia - I am getting better now - looking as good as Captain Sparrow of 'The Pirates of the Caribbean' ... hmm! ***
Awesome shot.
