Description
So this fellow is another reason my life has been so busy the last few months! He is my new partner - Ragtime Flashpoint, aka Flash - a 15.3 h 5 year old dunskin Morgan gelding, who I am starting under saddle myself (hence me being so busy!:)
He arrived the week before Christmas so you could say I actually got a pony for Christmas! (I wish Santa had been the one paying for him, but no matter:)
This was a quick and fun portrait I did of him this winter. I hope you enjoy! And thanks for all the wonderful comments on Fiereza!

I used to raise Morgans. They are an absolutely wonderful breed of horse. I am sure you will have many happy times with Flash. That is a bit of an unusual color for a Morgan but certainly not unheard of for that breed. Enjoy the difference! Some Morgans become so affectionate they think they can climb into your lap and cuddle like a dog. They are very sweet and, once you bond with one, you have a real friend who will do whatever you ask of him. By the way, really nice image!
