Description
...thank you for the comments on yesterday's, "The Woods are Lovely..."
...a couple of you asked to see the color version and here it is.
...yes, these are Redwood trees and the greeness of the place does look like this...no extra saturation.
...this grove is in Redwood National Park in Northern California...and just a tiny part of the overall National and State Park system there.

marvelous shot
Stunning clarity and details and colors!
Stunning green ambience on display in this color version, Bill.
even more lovely... love the saturation but I would 'go' for the b/w version great image!!!
The colour image does it for me although the b and w was excellent
Really beautiful.. no photo ever really captures the grandeur of those trees though. I visited there in the 70s and it made a very lasting impression.
A spectacular shot of these old redwoods and surroundings.
Wow - those colors really pop - and it's even more impressive that the colors are Mother Nature's very own... No Photoshop needed! Impressive! A beautiful shot, Bill - in color or B&W!
Ah, I KNEW it! I see the head of that sneaky T.Rex hiding behind the stub in the middle of the photo - snout facing left, back of head to the right. I strongly suspected redwood trees. I love them! The immense size, the canopy of branches and leaves so high up - further than the ceiling of any cathedral. This photo is great - those colors! And I can just smell the fresh, cool air! Mmmm....Thanks for posting this color version. SO BEAUTIFUL! Keep up the good work! :-)
The two pictures are interesting. I would love to hike here.
Very nice!! I can almost see little red riding hood running through here, and the wolf not far behind.
Wow! Bill this is spectacular! So lush and green, It's just beautiful. :)
Looks even better in color I like both images..but the color is my fav I missed this one somehow until I saw the airplane image Awesome pic of the woods Hugs Susan~
An amazing good capture. Impressing and wonderful, Bill.
