Description
...thank you for the comments on yesterday's, "The Woods are Lovely..."
...a couple of you asked to see the color version and here it is.
...yes, these are Redwood trees and the greeness of the place does look like this...no extra saturation.
...this grove is in Redwood National Park in Northern California...and just a tiny part of the overall National and State Park system there.

wonderful and delightful capture Bill thanks for the colour version as well
Very nice. I must admit I do prefer the colour version.
b/w every time for me
Very nice I like them both Bill.
This is an excellent pic Bill. I like both versions and the lighting is perfect.
Much less spooky in colour, which I think I prefer.
While I do like B/W I too prefer the colour one. So many wonderful shades of green and brown. Excellent capture Bill.
Amazing place, superb shot.

Yes! I prefer this one Bill, it's really quite stunning.. Outstanding shot, and totally relaxing.. Well took.. Rob
Thanks for the color version--those greens are so vital.
I like the colored one the best.
Like a chest of rich jewels; this is so incredibly beautiful!
No preferences here Bill, both shots are fantastic. I am sure this place also smelled wonderful as you ambled your way through. Nice work.
Superb. I thank you for this one. 5+! It says a lot about you.
Stunning Olympus shot here :) NEAT STUFF BILL!
Very beautiful capture Bill!!!! Thanks for the color version.
Yep, much more inviting for the girls, so pretty!!!
Thanks for posting this. I thought the b&w version was fantastic, but I am biased towards color & like this one even better. A really superb composition that captures the lushness & majesty of this place...
Superb capture Bill. I prefer the colored version then the B&W. God Bless.
It's settled then, we all agree on the coloured version as best, although I am a friend of B&W - but this one takes the cake ... I would love to tiptoe through this - not to wake the fairies and leprechauns ;) (should definitely find it's way into the LWITG) more than eye-candy, Bill BB
GOSH!! This is more than breathtaking. WOW!!! It is sooo beautiful. !!!!!
Right in my own backyard--I never get tired of walking thru these glorious forests!!
