When I read the title to this image, I immediately expected to see a grossly-misunderstood, stinging insect! I'm not disappointed however, as I DID get to see a stinging aircraft! Great nose-on POV, and I love the clear view of all of that missile, sensor, and other stowage under the wings. Have you noticed that the undersides of planes (rather like the undersides of animals) have a lot of really complicated business going on?

The sting of the hornet is well displayed here. Even though the stinger is usually at the other end, that is the end you would be seeing by the time you felt the sting!

Zooooooooomed it-So why is the little bomb strapped down? Has it been bad? Apart from that this is a terrific capture which is very plane to see!
