Description

This 1958 Chrysler 300-D Coupe sold 'AS IS' for $55,000. She reminded me of Stephen King's Christine, and was even born the same year! (Christine was a Plymouth)

I never pay more than a months income for a vehicle, and my present 18 year old Volvo cost about a week's money and has lasted me 8 years so far. It depends on your PPPF! (Pleasure Per Pound Factor)

A$55k OMG. Who ever bought it must be a real "Enthusiast" or they must fetch a very good price when done up.

Everything I have and more for this beauty. Just needs a bit of T-Cut and it'll come up a treat :)

Fantastic shot! I rather like the way the front grille looks like a ramjet intake. Needless to say, I found that amusing, and I love the grill-work also taking on the vague countenance of a downturned mouth. Really cool shot. I like the distressed paint.

I remember when they were new. They were nice cars, for this one I wouldn't give anything!

Believe it or not, this might be worth $55,000...if you had the ability to restore it to mint condition. Apparently there were only 618 of these babies built in 1958. Here's one selling for $149,900. Since I possess none of the skills to restore this car, I am with Sig...worth not a penny to me:)

That seems a little high (probably about $ 15,000 too high), for this condition. Fixed up, though, some of these babies have been known to trade for several hundred thousand dollars-especially the convertibles! Nice find and capture.

I like the shot but to far gone for $55,000. Someone must have needed the parts real bad.

It seems a lot to me, but then again if it's a good runner, but just va little rough round the edges, then I'm sure she'd be worth it in no time. You just can't buy stuff made in 1958 anymore!
