Description
While on a walk near Burlington, Vermont in an especially colorful October, spotted this lone house surrounded by an amazing explosion of colors. My wife has a cousin who lives there & we've made several trips that have all been spectacular. We've found that right around October 7th seems to be the ideal date to catch the trees at their peak brightness...

Spectacular. My father (originally from NY as you know) lived the last 47 years of his life in Maine. New England natives smilingly refer to tourists who come in October as "tree peepers".
