Description
Heading for Space
Heading for space once again is Hercules, NASA’s huge Super Booster along with the Cocoon Cargo Carrier. Cocoons payload on this journey is the first element of the Von Braun Space Platform or VBSP-1, a new mini space station designed by NASA at Robert Carter’s request.
The VBSP-1 or as Mission Control’s Cap-Com’s will come to call it in the coming years “Von Braun” will be used as a staging area to oversee the next phase of Carter’s long term goal for taking America back into space after the end of the space shuttle programme.
