fascinating
natures way is best
The best sculptor is Mother Nature herself, from creating great landscapes like mountains, canyons and others to such small structures as years rings in a tree or rust at a human building... You have a great eye for such things and their hidden beauty. Wonderful catch! Congratulations for your gallery´s vote and my best wishes for 2012!
Lovely 'natural' capture Tara, great textures. PS. You gave me a smile on your comment to my posting yesterday! Thank you.
Fantastic capture!
This is where my natural 'sculptures' in the garden came from, although from one of the Great Lakes and not the Pacific NorthWest coast. Thuja (Western Red Cedar) root boles can last a hundred years and more because insects find them inedible! So the piece in the front of your pic will still be around somewhere when the pole at the back is long recycled! There is something very cosy about the space between these, a little triangle of tranquility.
Wonderful contrast.Fire and ice! Bravo Tara a very beautiful photo as always. Again a very good 2012 year
I like the shades of brown, rust and grays and how they go together to make this a very pleasing photo.
YIKES! I would run to this place every day to take shots of this awesome driftwood.!!!! Love this shot.

Great find and capture! Driftwood is the best sculpture...
Wonderful textures!
What a wonderful find, Tara! Great shot, and what wonderful textures - it almost looks like the sand washing over that wood has given it a bit of polish. Excellent!
Well worn and polished... Earthy composition, Clive
