Very cool capture, Clive
Ah...Gatwick and I don't get along. At all! Long story, but suffice it to say, Gatwick is one of the airports on this planet I will never visit by choice again. Having said that, I have fond memories of EasyJet, especially since the planes and staff look as if they are extras from the Home Depot chain of home improvement stores in the USA. There's a particular charm to that and as for this shot, it's amazing. I love the intimate bits of airplanes, especially the...um...private bits of the wings. This is an amazing shot! Really brilliant!
Oh oh..."Pay no attention to the man behind the curtain!" I tend to not want to see the inner workings of things like this. I want to be able to believe that nothing can/will go wrong while in the air! When I see the complicated collection of bits in there I start wondering how they know everything is there and what if something comes off...?
Wonderful,
MY GOD the wing's BROKEN!
Stunning capture Clive. God Bless.
I wish I was on the flight right now!
Neat shot...all those moving surfaces kill lift and help bring things to a rapid stop. I am always for that upon landing:) Have enjoyed Ireland with you mate.
It's a Transformer! Holy Cow, didn't realise it split that much for landing!
It's 'plane' to see the inner workings especially through that extra clean window! Brilliant capture Clive.
Fascinating to see how the flaps work! Superb pic.
Certainly the only time you want to be able to see the ground through the wing...I posted that Control Tower yesterday...slightly older airplane though :-)
Seen this sight more than a couple of times ;-) More often at Heathrow, JFK, Detroit and now Philadelphia! Plus of course, Bangor International.. Thats quite a list.. I don't actually think I've posted a single photo taken in the air yet! Shocking huh? This is a great shot though.. Rob
