Hmm... raw, that's the best way to photograph a flower (not much left after cooking or frying). Silly pun, I know. This looks like I could touch it. The different shades of magenta are fantastic here. For this type of close-up, do you use a tripod to avoid shaking when the shutter releases? I have a few more light photos from this Christmas holiday, but I can only post one image a day. The balcony lights image is quite fuzzy, as a few of my other lights images. But I'll be posting the other good ones. Keep up the good work! :-)

Exquisite peony! I absolutely love these flowers for their wonderful smell and their fullness! Makes me think back to just a mere few months ago when I could smell these in person :) Very delicate and a pretty view!
