Who is Whaleman talking about!!! Lol. Super shot Tara.
Splendid capture!
wonderful capture
She must have been some girl to need a chain that weight!
Only for use if you are desperate.
Reminds me a shot uploaded in the very early days of my gallery here:
"Aground on grass" ;~)
What a beautiful boat and the light here is lovely.
My Goodness... what an interesting find! I wonder how much this little boat has been used in its time! A wonderful capture, my Friend... and beautiful lighting!
Very beautiful but sad capture. She probably still dreams of the times she carried people proudly on the waters
This old timer is definitely past its "use by" date! Wonderful find and image Hun!
Looking sad and lonely and need of some TLC! Take it home Tara, it needs a new home ;-) Great shot, like... Rob
i like such captures !! beautiful find!!
Iconic...ironic...laconic. :) Oh, and of course I like it a lot.
put out to pasture after years of use. kind of sad, but a beautiful shot!
Very nice. Thanks. 5+!
Beautiful capture!
Excellent shot! :)
Wonderful shot!
Although it has seen better days it still looks as though it would float. Shall we take it for a sail.... perhaps not I am getting past all that daring. lol. I like the clarity of this capture.
Great shot!
My first thought was: I'll bet woodlice live under there! and so naturally I found myself zooming in on this shot and searching for evidence of land-dwelling crustaceans with rather efficient biological habits and a taste for sliced carrots. (They really do like nice, carrot slices or shredded carrots.) I love the mood in this and the hints and whispers of stories just behind the scenes. Brilliantly seen!
A beautiful capture, Tara! There's just something very appealing about old boats - in or out of water. ...And even if the name of said boat sounds like cheese poofs dipped in chocolate... :-D
Nicely spotted, and what a great composition! You got it, girl!
makes a nice stare wonderful capture warm hugs, Linda Kaye
Love that boat :)
What really interests me, is the shape - (while out of water) like a very buxom woman (maybe a former barmaid?) who would let men handle her in very bad weather and then she got washed up after the storm onto the shore, used and abused ... ah well, my fantasy was drifting - just like in the above pic, BB
Great photo!
