Description
After the panto we went to get the car and as we passed the pier I attempted to capture the horror that modern fairground rides make me feel.
Tizzy is poor at night but I made use of the jiggle and grain and with a little digifiddle came up with this vision of hell.
I feel better now after the catharthis.

Super beautiful effect you got here ANdrea :-D
Actually look's like the devil dancing in the middle of the fire? A little ghost type guy holding a staff at the bottom along with a little red guy, To many thing's to type them all. Nice work...
I feel it too looking at this..creepy..
Wonderful postwork on this Andrea! Very cool effect.
Fantastic PW and beautiful looking !
You've managed to brilliantly convey the feeling of being totally overwhelmed by too much sensory input! This makes me want to run in the other direction. Really outstanding work!
Well, you have definitely captured the feeling you were seeking, very nicely done!
Although admittedly wonderful digifiddling in this image, what have you done to what I consider stimulating subect matter! I love the fairground rides, especially at night, with all their gaudy glitter and sounds, so full of joie de vivre!
LOL! Well, it makes lovely art, and I'm so glad it makes you feel better to have produced it!
LOL:))) This looks like the skeleton of the thing...and i like a lot this vision of the inside:) Well seen and very well done!
Something out of Dante's Inferno no doubt:)
Great image. But would prefer some more static displays to b there rather than all that movement and noise.
He he outstanding work. Even I am scared now viewing your post work. God Bless.
An amazing result Andrea. It could be a rampant attack of rust!!!
Atmospheric and unnerving with it's sinister twist!
Looks electrifying!!!
Are u kidding me g/f i love roller coasters and could ride them always, this is very cool work.
lol @ "vision of hell"... Great result Andrea.
beautiful effect.
Interesting postwork! :)
I like Carin chuckled at "vision of hell"! You've conveyed your vision quite well! :~)
Looks like you are on something pretty potent.
Marvelous composition!
Outstanding reflection of the carnival rides at night. They are very overwhelming in the daytime but you have captured the night "vision of hell" as I see it too. Great postwork and render Andrea.
Interesting treatment.
Wild colors in this vivid capture. A little digifiddle never hurts!
I loved carnival rides as a child, but when I see them now I feel a touch of nostalgia and a lot of unease. If I just think of getting on one of the things the feeling I have is perfectly expressed by this image! I think one of the most important functions of photography is communication, and this picture does that very well. Great job Andrea.
Interesting postwork!
Tee hee! Great vision! Clive
