Description
A simple "holiday" render of Alice from Lake's Kawanishi fighter. A frigatebird is a seabird that cannot land on water... which just about sums up the Kawanishi N1K2 fighter. This relatively rare but quite deadly IJN land-based fighter began life as a remarkable fighting floatplane, the N1K1 "Kyofu." I was briefly tempted to roll this model back to become the N1K1 but the design differences are simply too great. Which means I'll probably do the Kyofu as a stand alone model.
