A great old 'Armstrong' winch!
A rusty winch in a grass skirt! You don't see them everyday. A Superb shot and find.
She certainly winched in the votes this year. The winch look's so old yet still in use or is it just rust by sea water

I think somewhere in what was my darkroom I have mono negs of this very object! I used to deliver my porcelain and pottery to the Old Boathouse shop and Cafe several times a season.
