Another fantastic capture Mike, you must get a lot more rain there than we are used to here.

Great photographic story of the water levels on these past images. Super work Mike
Beautiful place Mike, loved the reflexions and textures!
Yep there would be water around them there trees maybe that's why they call it a wetland me's thinks.. Great capture!!!
Its still so pretty. ")
yup, they look wet.
Thank God that fairies can fly or be in trouble.
Very nice photo!!
like the way u captured this mike ,its really Beautiful..
The rain in Washington stays mainly on the (flood) plain? Sorry - couldn't resist a little musical interlude.... Very cool shot and neat series, Mike!
Ya know, there's a permanent puddle behind the house I live in, currently...it's the puddle that never really vanishes...though it's gone dry recently. I like it because it's home to such a large colony of daphnia (water fleas) and I wonder if such critters are common to other flood plains. This shot reminds me of where I often go hunting for daphnia, though now, I've got a thriving colony of my own and I no longer have to hunt for them...I just keep them well fed and they seem reasonably happy. Okay, that has nothing to do with this image, but this image is a wonderful snapshot of the natural world and it sets my mind off in all sorts of directions. Great photography does that and this is, indeed, a fantastic image. I particularly like the swampy, squishy mood this has, and it also makes me think that a duck-billed dinosaur might come ambling into the area at any minute!
Lots of water everywhere!
Beautiful Mike!!

The lighting in this is really extraordinary. It has a softness and radiance that is so beautiful. What a great shot!! I love it.
