Description
Took this yesterday on the Chard Reservoir Nature Reserve.
It looks as if the fox has mange.

It look that way although I suppose he might have been in some fights too. Good to even get a shot of one, it's been a while since I've even seen a fox!
nice one
awesome!!!!! now that you mention it... that must be cold, poor beast! so no white X-mas for you either... it's over 10 degrees C here (!) wonderful capture!
Excellent shot!
Sure looks a mess. But it loooks well fed.
We have them living outside our place. They run along the sand and catch rabbits. Great capture.
Poor little baby but fantastic shot.
dont be rude Jeff, he speaks so well of you. Good opportunistic shot.
wonderful
I wish we had foxes, guess we'll have to settle for raccoons and possums. Poor guy, bet his backside is cold; wonder if this is the latest style for foxes, the way young guys now wear their pants down below their bums?
LOL at Denise!! Great capture!
Brilliant Jeff. we have yet to see one there.
great capture and very rare view at this animal !!
really great one here ,
"Just my luck! Someone's taking my picture when my butt is bald." ;D LOL! Superb capture Jeff! :)
Great capture of this fox!!!
Very lucky to see that Fox
Nice shot Jeff!
GIGGLE! Couldnt help chuggling of what Kim wrote. But I feel so sorry for the poor fox. Superb shot though. :)
Yes he does look a bit the worse for wear.
Wonderful shot!
Interesting...his/her eyes are glowing red like the eyes of a cat. Dog's eyes glow green by contrast. [all from reflected light on their retinas] I would have thought the eyes of a fox to be closer to the eyes of a dog...but I am way out on a limb of knowing very little about this subject:-) Neat capture and apparently a rare one these days in your 'neck of the woods'.
I think this fox is very petty. :)))) I love the the background. :))))) It's eyes do look like they are glowing. :))))) Most excellent capture my friend. :))))) Thank you for sharing all of the beauty you see. :)))))) Carry A Smile In Your Heart :)))))
Splendid composition and colors my friend
mange or not an outstanding capture.we have plenty of coyotes here, but I have never seen any foxes except for the two legged kind(always ready for a treat for the eyes)
Great shot!
This is a great shot and I agree with the mange or the loss of a nasty fight. I like the rugged background.
FOXY LADY ;-) S U P E R B
What an opportunity. Lucky you! Clive
Stunning capture my friend. God Bless.
