Yesterday a friend arrived after dinner we decided to go to the Beach And enjoyed yet another coming storm.. After that I decided to get out at a different tramstop, even though the rain was falling "The body" said I had.. and when I have "this feeling" i listen.. We walked past a dark straat when I heard a soft sound and from the corner of my eye I saw a man in the street He was flat on the Floor.. In a second I stood next to him.. He was laying in the rain and said he was unable to move Even though 67 he told me he had just been to his mothers house. She had died at high age And overwhelmed by greeve he had missed -proberbly and obviously- the step to the pavement It was indeed amazingly dark in that corner. He had no idea how he got there .. on the Floor, but by the postition where he was.. that was clear. Hardly visual in the rain .. in the dark many must already have past him, while he was very wet. I had already used the mobile to call 112 and as I do speak loud a person living in the street came out of his house To see what was going on. Lucy was unable to speak Dutch to the man.. and I had to speak to 112 (Dutch 911) The Dutch man who had come out of the house was able to keep speaking with the man on the floor. Within minutes police and ambulance where there.. In the flash of the Police-light I could now see much blood at the face of the man. He had fallen straight forward.. It should not have lasted longer, this situation... Shaking.. but grateful that we had been there to be able to help I got home and slept unbroken from 23.00 till 10.00 with happy dreams.
