I'm thinking there is milk bones in them there box and the dog can't wait to get the present... I think the little girl must be greatful to have a dog that sleeps by her bed and night and keeps the monsters out from under the bed - lol... funny how images can remind you of your own childhood - lol

This is precious beyond words, and such a beautiful thought as well. We all have so much to be grateful for. I think we are often thankful, but gratitude runs deeper and sometimes perhaps while we are feeling thankful we are not always as grateful for the good things we enjoy as we should be. My online time has been all but nil here of late, Jenny, but I'd like to wish you and all those you hold dear a very merry Christmas. My thanks to you for being such a nice online friend, you truly make this site a better place with your presence here. Not only through your friendship but also through your talent as both a creator of fine products (and gifts, too!) but also your unique ability to create works such as this one here. A touching and loving looking character... and really, what would Christmas be if it were not for the children? Sorry to say I haven't seen the rest of this series but I seldom have the time to get to the local cafe anymore and their 'puters are being quite wonky... router problems that they seem to prefer to ignore rather than spens 75 bucks to fix. Merry Christmas to all... :~D
