Description
As I looked at the title for this foto, I realize it could have other, slightly strange meanings. But well, that's ok, cuz I can be slightly strange once in a while.
When I saw that today is your birthday, Corey, I went right away to find something to post for you. I keep a few shots right on my desktop that I've already done whatever needed doing to. This one jumped right out at me, and I knew it was YOURS. It's the slough on Humboldt Bay in Eureka, with a rather different view. That's how your fotos are~~~~the same old stuff we see every day, but with a very different perspective. Compelling, and impossible to ignore---right on!!
HAPPY BIRTHDAY, COREY!!!!

UnChain My Heart.....I have a feeling that you were trying to find your way in to get under that bridge? Happy Birthday Corey. Aloha
Wonderful birthday dedi for Corey!
Perfect for the boy! And only "slightly strange once in a while." Hmmm! Hehe!
Yep, this is a Corey sort of shot, especially with that through the fence POV. The color is really surprising too. It's lively and not gray at all: I always expect gray or that grotty beige color that's so common with bridges. Here, there's a nice blue tone and some nice golds. The light is really fantastic and the fence links give this a nice mosaic feel. I like the plant growth too, it looks so inviting! This is super. I like it a LOT.
I love this! The dof is perfect, with the bridge and the river in focus and the fence a blur. Superb image, and a terrific dedi for Corey. Happy Birthday, Corey!
Just awesome Marilyn and great for the birthday boy! Happy Birthday dear Corey!
Perfect indeed...I can just see Corey shooting through chain link like this at some urban disarray in Chicago... A fine birthday dedi Marilyn:)
That's okay, I am slightly strange...well, probably slightly more than slightly...I really like this a lot! I particularly like the clarity of the rest of the shot through the blur of the foreground. Thanks so much for this post and the birthday wishes!
I like this POV also but please don't fence me in!
