Description
These sheep enjoy
of peace and quiet
heat on their fur
the last leaves on the trees
have a moment
to dream.
and winter....
what's that?
Thank you very much for your kind comments on my earlier upload.
Wishing you all a very fine weekend.

The picture was taken from the flock of sheep that graze on the Gerendal.
This species is rare sheep. It was almost extinct.
In Dutch it is called "The Mergelland sheep".
They are a special kind, grazing on calcareous grasslands.

They are so very different to the breed we have mostly here in the south of England! Do you know thw breed name. Mies? I am very interested in the different sorts.

Delightful capture, Mies Not baaaaad at all
I looked at your link, and just laughed! You are like my friend Ingeborg (from Amsterdam), who will sit and read a book, laughing her head off! We say, "It must be a funny book!" "Oh yes," she says. "Can I borrow it when you're done?" "Of course!" She finishes the book and hands it over ... and it is in Dutch! No problem for her, but we only read English! LOL! The sheep are quite attractive, no matter what language they speak. :P
Great, really great!! I love the color, the mood, everything.
