Description
that water is a very powerful force in nature
the object you are looking at, those logs are about 18 inches (about 45cm) in diameter and very long. these weigh about a ton. There is only one way in/out to these ponds. the combination of High tide and the moving water pushed this set of logs up on the path that goes over the culvert (now covered by water).
We've had about 2 to 3 inches of rain in two days... it's been interesting to say the least

Everyone underestimates it until it shows it's power. Great shot.
Nice shot. I like the colours here.
Nice one!!
We had a sample of this in October here. Yes, it`s a great power. Great capture Mike!
Great photo here Mike, and it illustrates your point perfectly
LOOKS like the logs we built my mom's cabim with.
Another good shot!!!!
water can be a deadly force Mike, cool shot.
very heavy logs nice rain pic...i wish we had rain instead of snow where I am at.
excellent !
Amazing capture Mike, marvelous work!
There's nothing we can build (on the planet's surface, anyway) that water cannot destroy. Cool shot, Mike!
Yes the power of water is unstoppable. Any one that has ever been downstream of a dam burst or in the way of a sunami wave will never forget it. Great image of this
Only 2-3 inches did all of this? I guess that is quite a bit of rain, the way they measure it. Yes, water is a very powerful force and can carry things like this a long way.
The worst thing about all of this rain is that my dog won't go outside to do her business...have you ever known a dog who hated getting her feet wet? It's very stressful for all of us!
Great shot! Nature unleashes it's fury, you get out of the way!
Wonderful shot Mike and if the culvert is covered or blocked - you will be having some future water problems.
Huckleberry Finns raft? Interesting capture. Aloha
Looks like quite a storm, be safe and stay warm.
a round here 2 or 3 inches is nothing in a few hours. It will not flood like this. a foot of rain in a day will flood some but that rare
wind, water, weather, and fire are the dominant forces in nature.water can move large trucks weighing many tons like they are boats.no surprise that the logs can be shoved around like pretzels.very interesting capture
Cool capture Mike!
Great capture mike..Happy Thanksgiving to you..
with water i can come along ,powerful as it is if you leave it an option it looks for the easiest path or guide it. storm and wind is more frightening to me.
Man, have a few raindrops over for a party and you wind up with a mess!
Great shot of these logs would make good posts, maybe you should claim them and have them milled for timber!!
Amazing shot. The logs are almost perfectly stacked.
A great illustration shot Mike.
Awesome shot.
