Description
that water is a very powerful force in nature
the object you are looking at, those logs are about 18 inches (about 45cm) in diameter and very long. these weigh about a ton. There is only one way in/out to these ponds. the combination of High tide and the moving water pushed this set of logs up on the path that goes over the culvert (now covered by water).
We've had about 2 to 3 inches of rain in two days... it's been interesting to say the least

Dang the saying is don't mess with Mother Nature.. Great capture and thanks for scaring the crap out of all of us..
Flooding time again, eh?
I don't mind the cold but the rain is a pain, damp & dismal. Lovely pic!!!
Another cool shot my friend....!!!
take care...yes...water is very powerful!
Beautiful reminder shot of the forces of Nature. Hope you had a Happy Thanksgiving.
When nature unleashes its strength nothing beats my friend. I am sorry for all the bad deveined happening everywhere across the globe ((5 + +)) Quand la nature se déchaine rien ne surpasse sa force mon ami . Je suis bien triste pour touit les mauvais éveinements qui se passent un peu partout à travers ce globe ((5++))
Whoa! Now that's a flow of water! impressive to say the least! Would not have liked to have been in the way.. Excellent.. Rob
Water is a powerful element, you would be impressed with the surf here. The MASSIVE Redwood trees get tossed around like a twig and then discarded HIGH up into the dunes. One is left in amazement at how far away from the surf it has been diposited! Thanks for sharing Mke!
Great nature capture, and I see that it was raining there.
great observation Mike.....i don't like the rain, unless i am sitting looking at it through a window !!
Man blunders along with his daily struggles while nature can accomplish unheard of tasks with narry a flick of her wrist! Great capture here showing how easy it is for Mother Nature! A most excellent photo, Mike!
Love all the shades of gray here, and of course your words. Don't underestimate natures forces!
Your shots always amaze me my friend... you see more than just an image and you share those visions with us all. Bravo!

Cool info and capture Mike...water is very powerful
INTERESTING THE LOGS ARE VERY HEAVY
Awesome capture Mike. Wonderful landscape and lake. Many of us take "Water and Fire" for granted.. We under estimate the powerful forces that each have. Yet both are a necessity of life.
Great Shot Mike..:)
