Description

Well, doggone it, Bill.... When the TNA gals heard that they had missed your birthday, they were so dismayed, they got right on the phone to arrange quick transport to the great Pacific northwest. These ladies have a knack for pulling the right strings. Somehow, they managed to borrow a couple AV-8 Harriers from the Marines (no idea how they pulled THAT one off..), and jumped in their jump-jets to jump on over and wish you a belated HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! Hope it was a good one, my friend, and best wishes fom many many more! The background was rendered in Vue 9, a few wispy, low-altitude clouds were added in Photoshop, the girls and Harriers rendered in Poser Pro 2012. I'm slowly - and as time permits - getting somewhat of a 'feel' for Vue. I'm diggin' it! Thanks so much for all your wonderful comments, faves, and support!

Wow, talk about a tight formation. Well we know those TNA girls can fly darn near anything and I am sure they liberated these jets by completely legal means (snort). I'll be watching to see how you work your characters into VUE. Which version do you have?

What a fantastic image for Bills Birthday Rod, and the girls look fabulous in their "legally" acquired transport (*cough.. yeah right) heading over to Bills to say Happy Birthday.. Hope there is no repercussions over this ahem "adventure" because you know Rod the Marines are just as likely to end up on your doorstep with 2 girls, a massive fuel bill, and "hire" charge for two jets.. Keep up the good work Rod and are we to see some Vue scenes soon.. Keep them coming mate..

Wowser! This is great! Did you know that Bill's original home page image had a shot of him standing in front of a Harrier? I don't know which flavor it was, but I DO remember it was a Harrier. He's gonna love this! Fabulous image, my friend. It's fun to watch you learn new stuff! :D

Wonderful imagery - I am so looking forward to seeing what you do with Vue. I'm trying to learn it as well. Geek at play has some good tutorials - I haven't gotten to youtube yet. :) I think your landscape looks quite convincing and love the little story here - superb dedication. Wow!

Hi Rod! Are you ready for this? When I opened my bots this morning I found your bot for this most cool image had arrived 15 hours ago! I hesitate to tell you this (don't get any ideas), but I haven't been online for about the last 15 hours and 30 minutes. It just so happens that I got an inflight call from the girls via the Icloud directly to my new Iphone. There's an app for that you know. Anyway they had just gotten clearance to land at Paine Field which is only three miles from our house. They told me that Paul Allen had invited them to jump over to his hangar and hang out with him at his Flying Heritage Collection...they had to turn down several other offers of hangar space on the field...most notably from William E. Boeing Jr. Is there anybody these girls don't know? Anyway they took both tk and me out for dinner at Arnie's over in Mukilteo right down on the water front. They were both most gracious and very good, neither one had so much as a glass of wine since they were making a night flight back to California to return the jets to the Marines. So, I love this render from Rod's Render Oven. Thanks a million for honoring my day by sending my favorite girls from TNA. We're always open for overnight guests too...I just pull the motorhome into the driveway and poof...an instant apartment ready for whoever drops in...or jumps in;-)

LOL!! I HAD to laugh when I scrolled down to Roxy's comment because the first sentence was EXACTLY what I thought when I saw your image here, lol. I knew Arawen and G4 were tight but I never knew they were this tight! LOL! These babes seem to able to do, and fly ANYTHING! James Bond can't hold a candle to them! Excellent image - including the background, Rod.
