Description
A cold plunge bath was a feature of many Roman bath houses, but rarely on this scale. Here you could take an invigorating plunge after treatments in the warm and hot rooms – but you probably would not linger.
The images of bathers are projected onto the walls. You can all see at the coins thrown into this 'wishing well'. Ladies wishing they drop their towels...?

This could be a heart stopping experience...knew a 49 year old, very fit man who dove into a very cold pool and immediately died due to a massive heart attack. That aside, this is one cool photo.

Oh, a projection! How cool is that! I love the quality it gives the scene ... the added light is impactful. Excellent image! I go to our local women's spa here in town, and there's a cold plunge, which I avoid like the plague. It does get used ... but not by me!

There is such a deliciously surreal shot! It gives a nice sense of realism to the concept of the ghost! I really like every element of this shot. The bath itself is marvelously captured and I rather like the idea of projected bathers and it makes me wonder about the models/actors themselves. I wonder what it must feel like to actually be one of those models/actors visiting the baths and seeing themselves as projections. Would anyone recognize them?
